  • Londiwe Mntambo

    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Londiwe holds a Master’s Degree from the Department of Political and International Studies, Rhodes University. She is We Are The People's Executive Director and Co-Founder. In addition, Londiwe is a strategist with experience leading youth leadership initiatives.

    She has ten years experience working in civil society and has participated in and facilitated youth leadership programs at the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, including the Fort Hare Autumn School Leadership Program and the Commonwealth Youth Forum International taskforce, for the Commonwealth Youth.

  • Nyiko Lebogang Shikwambane

    SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR & DIGITAL CAMPAIGNS MANAGER

    Lebogang, with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, oversees We Are The People's communications and digital efforts. As a journalist and talk show host, she has a decade of experience in print, radio, and television, focusing on governance, politics, and socioeconomics.

    Passionate about South Africa and democracy, Lebogang believes in the power of art, culture, and her generation's strength to shape the future. She is also interested in African literature and media studies.

  • Bakhile Mulima

    EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

    Bakhile Mulima holds a Bcom in Human Resources Management from the University of Johannesburg. She is currently studying towards a Bcom honours degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology.

    She is Executive Assistant at We Are The People. Her key skills include coordinating, administration and communication. Bakhile strongly believes that for our democracy to work, we all must play a part.
